Taped Distractions Collection
The 14 pieces in this collection are on plasma cut Galvanized Metal, 4 Layers of (Hand Cut, Hand Placed) Tape and Resin, mounted on laser engraved* stained wood panels to create a contemporary art piece with vintage accents. Each piece offers a reflective quality when seen with flash photo or direct lighting. Photos below show natural and flash photos. Full Dimensions including antennas and wood background: 25x25"

Kaaboo Music and Art Festival 2017

Taped Metal Canvas's biggest event of the year and another successful exhibit for 2107. This year TMC was offered a 32 of wall space to exhibit in the Gallery. Taped Metal Canvas provided an experience for 1000s of people to enjoy grabbing their silhouette in front of one of the large pieces- a 7 and 8 foot piece as an amazing background. Movement Ink, Oakland, CA Wonderland, San Francisco, CA
Movement Ink provided a space to create the biggest piece to date: an 8 foot x 8 Foot piece that evolved to be "100 eyes" an homage to the beautiful peacock with a reflective tape art essence. This month we unveiled in the community before its destination to San Diego in September and launched the silhouettes.

Taped Metal Canvas was invited to create a pice for Wonderlands 7th Anniversary "Simply Frida" show. Over 50 artists shared their pieces inspired by Frida Kahlo. Taped Metal Canvas create a piece that showed an evolving style of reflective portrait with tape.

Taped Metal Canvas accepts an invitation from SDMART to participate in the closing celebration for Richard Deacon's Exhibit. Dominic created a 7'x7' reflective piece to be the featured backdrop for the events photo booth experience.

This was one of the first collections created to compliment the business and its community of skateboarders. Metal Shaped Taped Metal Canvases on the wall and experimenting with reflective tape and clear grip tape.
